Über mich...

 

Ich bin Architekturtheoretikerin und Kunsthistorikerin aus Innsbruck. Nach meinem Studium der Architektur und Kunstgeschichte an der Universität Innsbruck und der University of Plymouth (GB) war ich bis Sommer 2022 als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiterin, Forscherin und Dozentin am Institut für Architekturtheorie und Baugeschichte/Abteilung für Architekturtheorie an der Universität Innsbruck tätig. Über meine Forschung habe ich mehrere Artikel und Beiträge veröffentlicht und auf nationalen und internationalen Konferenzen präsentiert. Des Weiteren bin ich Mitglied des Doktoratskollegs Geschlecht und Geschlechterverhältnisse in Transformation: Räume - Relationen - Repräsentationen sowie dem Independent Architecture Research Colloquia (IARC), das ich gemeinsam mit Zeynep Çinar bis zum Frühjahr 2022 geleitet habe. In den letzten Jahren habe ich außerdem als freie Redakteurin des Online-Magazins Viceversa bits, als Autorin und Kunstkritikerin u.a. für artmagazine.cc und als freie Kuratorin gearbeitet. Im Jahr 2017 wurde ich mit dem AICA-Preis für junge Kunstkritik ausgezeichnet. 2022 war ich Teil des Kuratorenteams der Architekturbiennale in Timișoara, Rumänien (Beta - Architecture Biennial 2022, kuratiert von Daniel Tudor Munteanu und Davide Tommaso Ferrando), die am 23. September 2022 unter dem Titel Another Breach in the Wall eröffnet wurde. Seit Oktober 2022 bin ich die Geschäftsleiterin und Kuratorin der Künstlervereinigung Tiroler Künstler:innenschaft.

I am an architectural theorist and art historian from Innsbruck. I have studied architecture and art history at the University of Innsbruck and the University of Plymouth (GB) and until Summer 2022 I have been working as a research assistant, researcher and lecturer at the Institute for Architectural Theory and Building History/Department of Architectural Theory at the University of Innsbruck. I have published several articles and contributions on my research and presented them at national and international conferences. I am a member of the doctoral programme Gender and Gender Relations in Transformation: Spaces - Relations - Representations as well as the Independent Architecture Research Colloquia (IARC), which I co-chaired with Zeynep Çinar until spring 2022. In recent years, I have also worked as a freelance editor of the online magazine Viceversa bits, as a writer and art critic for artmagazine.cc, among others, and as a curator. In 2017, I was awarded the AICA Prize for Young Art Criticism. 2022 I have been part of the curatorial team of the Architecture Biennial in Timișoara, Romania (Beta - Architecture Biennial 2022, curated by Daniel Tudor Munteanu and Davide Tommaso Ferrando), which opened on 23rd of September 2022 under the title Another Breach in the Wall. Since October 2022 I am the managing director and curator of the artists association Tiroler Künstler:innenschaft.
